What we collect

When you book online or contact us we may collect:

• Name, email address and phone number
• Vehicle registration number (for booking and identification only)
• Any details you provide in your enquiry message

Our website also uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site and how you arrived at our website. This helps us improve the site and understand which services are most popular. GA4 does not collect personally identifiable information.

We also use the Meta pixel and Conversions API (Facebook/Instagram) to measure how visitors reach us from Facebook and Instagram and how well our advertising works. This records site activity such as pages viewed and bookings started; it never includes card details. Meta's own privacy controls apply to data handled by Meta — see your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

How we use your information

• To send booking confirmations and appointment reminders

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with Wix.com (our booking and website platform) and payment providers (Klarna, PayPal, card processors) as necessary to process your booking and payment.

Payment information

Online payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store card details on our website or servers.

How long we keep your data

We keep your booking and contact information for as long as needed to honour your lifetime guarantee and comply with legal requirements (such as tax records). You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your data
• Object to or restrict how we use your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

Data deletion requests

To have your personal data deleted, email sales@thetintfactory.co.uk with the subject "Data deletion request", from the email address you used to book or enquire. Include your name and, if you booked, your vehicle registration. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and delete your booking and contact records. Where the law requires us to keep specific records (for example tax records of payments), we will tell you what has been kept and why. This also covers any data collected through Facebook or Instagram features connected to our site.
