Both of our films are premium products: there is no budget option here. The difference is how far you want the performance to go.

Carbon and ceramic are the film types, not how dark they are — each comes in your choice of shade. Carbon is available in 20% or 5%, ceramic in 15% or 5% (the lower the number, the darker the glass), and you pick your exact shade on the day with the film held against your car's glass.

    Live demo

    Not sure between carbon and ceramic? Feel a live ceramic demonstration in the workshop and sense the heat difference for yourself. Most customers upgrade to ceramic on the day.

    We fit your tint

    From about 90 minutes for a 3 door hatchback to around 3 hours for a saloon, estate or large SUV, in the Queniborough workshop. Every window is shrunk, cut and fitted by hand with the door cards off for a flawless, factory-quality finish.

    Let it cure

    Leave your windows up for 3-5 days while the film cures. A slight haziness during this time is completely normal. It clears as the film bonds to the glass.

Front windows

Road-legal fronts, done properly

The law is simple: front side windows must let at least 70% of the light through, the windscreen 75%. The number works backwards from how it sounds, it is the light passing through, so lower means darker, and a 20% front is a long way past illegal. There is no limit on the rear glass at all.

I fit ceramic fronts that stay inside the limit, and the windscreen can be done too. Both are bookable online as an add-on to any car. You get the heat and UV rejection on the glass you sit behind, without the risk.

What illegal fronts cost you

  • Between 70% and 34%: a roadside traffic offence.
  • 33% or darker: treated as a dangerous condition. Points on your licence and the car can be prohibited on the spot.
  • Insurance: an illegal modification gives your insurer a way out of a claim.
