Window Tinting Installation Technique

Fixed side windows

First, the window tinting film is cut to the shape of the window it is required to tint. Once the desired shape is achieved the film can be shrunk to conform to compound curves within the windows preventing fingers from forming along the top and bottom. The inside of the window is then cleaned with a razor blade to remove any contamination. The window and film are now soaked in a special slip solution. The film is then placed on the inside of the glass. Using specialist window tinting tools, the slip solution is pressed out from behind the film leaving a clean even finish.

Opening Windows

First, the window tinting film is cut to the shape of the window it is required to tint. The seals are then removed from the inside of the window to allow better access with the film. The inside of the window is then cleaned with a razor blade to remove any contamination. The window and film are now soaked in a special slip solution. The film is then placed on the inside of the glass. Using specialist window tinting tools, the slip solution is pressed out from behind the film leaving a clean even finish.

Rear windows

First, the window tinting film is cut to the shape of the window it is required to tint. The film is then pressed on to the glass in an H pattern. The excess film is then shrunk to conform the compound curve of the glass. The inside of the window is then cleaned with an abrasive pad to remove any contamination. The window and film are now soaked in a special slip solution. The film is then placed on the inside of the glass. Using specialist window tinting tools, the slip solution is pressed out from behind the film leaving a clean even finish.
